Season two of tree removal is anticipated to begin on Aspen Lane West on May 23rd, 2024. When operations begin, expect noise from equipment and potential traffic delays. Access via HWY 36 to Aspen, Aspen Lane West, Aspen Lane East, Sugar Pine, and Lodgepole Lanes may be limited for your safety.

03.06.24 board meeting cancelation.pdfThe RCDTC’s conservation technicians plan to burn 105 piles across 3 acres at East Sand Slough (north of Antelope Boulevard) in Red Bluff on February 28th between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, pending air quality and weather conditions. Smoke will be visible in Red Bluff. The CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn Unit, Caltrans, and the Red Bluff Fire Department are aware of the burn.
Vegetative fuels reduction in urban sloughs will help reduce wildfire intensity and slow the rate of fire spread to help protect people, property, infrastructure, and habitat. The recently constructed side channel at East Sand Slough helped restore critical juvenile salmon and riparian habitat through a multi-million-dollar fish passage project in collaboration with over a dozen partners (learn more: https://youtu.be/SSZTM3CsH90).
Thank you, CAL FIRE, for funding this burn!
